I have single handedly decided that Nobunaga The Fool is by far the biggest let-down of the season while simuntaneously having won the title of “the most awkward looking CGI in 2014” and man, we aren’t even a month in 2014.
Besides being a by-the-book definition of royal clusterfuck, Nobunaga The Fool has kicked it’s potential over the edge way harder than it should have, and it’s not even sorry about it.
I expected FateZero meets Code Geass. I’m so sorry.
Three episodes in and I’m still confused as to where this is going; I expect a build up to some bigass over the top fight, some pretentious talk about stars and not caring, and finally it ends.
Yeah, while Nobunaga The Fool is more confusing than bad, I really do like the characters; Or atleast two of them. Nobunaga himself and his bestfriend, (Was it Koujaku?) They and the rest of the cast look very pretty.
But unfortunately, not even bishonen and bishoujos can save this anime.
I really don’t know if I should continue this or not… it feels more like it’s making fun of the epic historical mecha anime it was supposed to be, and call me crazy, but I still feel hope for this to become something good, even if I almost fell asleep watching episode 3.
