Psycho Pass 2 Writer Tow Ubukata Arrested For Domestic Violence.


Writer responsible for Mardock Scramble, Fafner, Ghost in the Shell Arise and the fabulous mess that is the second season of Psycho Pass has allegedly been arrested by the Metropolitan Police Department’s Shibuya Station on Sunday for suspicion of domestic violence against his wife after she had sustained various injuries, including a fracture on her teeth and chin – and reported it to the police.

“I admit we had a quarrel, but I didn’t hit her.” says Ubukata after the arrest, which happened in his office in the Minato of Tokyo ward.

This was not the only instance where Ubukata has been suspected of violence, however, as days before the arrest the local Chiba Prefecture police had to intervene on the streets. He didnĀ“t get arrested at the time.

As for the upcoming season of Fafner Exodus, the broadcasting station refrained from commenting on the situation.
