On Wednesday, the Kondansha team revealed the details of the much anticipated and very risqué Kangoku Gakuen adaptation via Nico Nico Live, set to air in Summer – Finally, the community can either throw stakes in flames at eachother or praise their gods for the beautiful disaster that will be the raciest, most sexual thing to come out of an anime this year, to say the least.
J.C Staff (Toradora, DanMachi, Shokugeki No Soma) will animate the work, while Tsutomu Mizushima (Shirobako, xxxHolic) will direct it. Furthermore, voice actors include Hiroshi Kamiya (Levi in Attack on Titan) for Kiyoshi Fujino, Katsuyuki Konishi (Kamina in Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann) as Gakuto and Kana Hanazawa as Hana Midorikawa.
Personally, I sure as hell didn´t expect J.C Staff of all studios to get their hands on this – I´m certain most of us predicted Madhouse or, worst scenario, a B-Level studio. One way or another, I really, really want this to be good, and J.C Staff, while not my first pick for a manga that relies this much on sex and glory, is doing a damn good job with Shokugeki No Souma, which might be compared to Kangoku Gakuen if, y´know, tone down everything to half of what it is. I´m carefully hyped.
