Naturally, I’m a few
many weeks off and this should be Week 25 probably. Whatever.
So the Mirai Animator Project (2014) is a thing again, and this years strongest contender is the 25 minute “movie” that I’m going to be talking about: Harmonie, effectively done by Studio Rikka.
So have you ever wondered about the lives, dreams and troubles of the people around you? What do they do, who are they to other people and what do they feel? If so Harmonie might be the thing you need.
Every person has a world inside of them; You, the girl next to you, the guy talking to your bestfriend and even your teacher: Class 2-1 is bustling with stories like these Honjou Akio’s world consists out of passionate anime talk, and Makina Juri’s world, which is where our story begins…
Who should watch Harmonie?
Harmonie is a 25-minute experience, so if you want a quick, satisfying and different watch, I recommend you give this a try.
Why should you watch Harmonie?
As it’s name indicates, Harmonie is very calm and it tries to explore many things in one sitting… it works, to be honest, even with it’s faults and it’s weird fantasy feat. All in all, I highly recommend you give it a try as you won’t come across anything like this in your mainstream-anime for a long, long time.
