GATE: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri Episode 1 Thoughts – And The Deprived Nerd Saves The Day.

Unbenannt

Apparently A1 Pictures seems to think that wish-fullfilling anime centered around a guy and multiple girls with colourful hair is the way of the future – because that seems to be the only damn thing they´re doing nowadays.

This season was going so well for me, and then Gate comes in and wrecks it all  – mind you, this is my own personal opinion and I´d be damned if everyone had the same opinion on anything, it´d be a boring life, but hey, I personally lost interest in this show when the opening started.

How can you judge an anime by its opening?!

I know, I know, I just don´t care about military stories, or boring main characters, or boring main character who are also deprived otakus who are put on pedestal and save the damn universe for playing some Call of Duty in their spare time – alright, alright, this show is obviously some kind of wet dream for its audience, but I´m just not the target audience for this anime, clearly, I have Aoharu x Kikanjuu for my wish fullfilling glory this season.

In any case, I just don´t care. I don´t hate this show, or dislike it, or think it´s a spawn of Satan, I just don´t care – it´s something the Sword Art Online fans would enjoy, or the Danmachi folks, but I honestly don´t care, and that´s about it.

For one, the episode itself felt way too dense, a little too crazy and the girls were way too pretty in comparison to the boys that look exactly like eachother.
