Anime About Live-Action Statues Turned Idols Announced, Teaser Confuses Everyone.

The press conference announcing the series included four statutes just sitting there for six whole minutes. It is 2015 and this is something that actually happened, what a time to be alive.

The show, produced by LIDEN Films and being the lovechild of the character goods maker Zargiani Works, media company Kadokawa, and art supplier Holbein Artist Materials, will be about four stone figures turned pretty boy idols and their struggles of making it in the entertainment industry with the help of fresh—out—of—college graduate Miki Ishimoto, the show is set to air in the Winter of 2016.

Nobody actually gives a shit about any of that though, but I still think you should watch this preview, it´s quite magical.

As for the statues turned idols, the cast includes Saint Giorgio, Medici, Hermes and Mars. I chose dead languages in highschool just to escape maths and I think having to write this is my retribution.

One way or another, the show will be directed by Tomoki Takuno, who directed Yamada kun and the Seven Witches, and Michiko Yokote, writer of Yamada kun and the Seven Witches, will write it. Oh, and it´s called Sekko Boys.
